Ruth is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, and holds master’s degree in medical and biological illustration.

Ruth’s passion lies in storytelling, concept development, and helping develop complex medical, informational, and process-oriented visualizations. She has extensive experience collaborating with creative teams, experts, and attorneys to find the best way to tell each unique story.

In her spare time Ruth trains and competes in Shotokan karate, where she also volunteers to help teach young kids learn the traditional martial arts. She also loves to hang out with her two kids and two dogs, ideally on a hike exploring Colorado’s mountain streams and beautiful fauna &flora.
